Muruci - Carrier Oil
Byrsonima crassifolia
Muruci Oil is extracted from the aromatic yellow fruits of the Byrsonima crassifolia plant native to tropical America. Abundant in Omega 6 and Omega 9 fatty acids and various other phytochemicals, Muruci Oil is a pale yellow lightweight emollient with a pleasant mild fragrance.
Sometimes cultivated for its edible fruits, the Byrsonima crassifolia tree is native and abundant in the wild tropical and subtropical climates of Central and Southern America. The fruits are eaten raw and also often used to prepare carbonated beverages, ice cream and juice. In Brazil, it has been used to make a fermented beverage called chicha.

Tocopherols and tocotrienols present in Muruci Oil help protect the skin from UV radiation, and environmental pollution and convert free radicals compounds that could cause skin wrinkles.

In haircare, Muruci Oil acts as a natural moisturiser that forms a protective layer on hair strand, sealing the moisture in giving a softer and shinier look. Also, it helps improve hairs strength and flexibility by moisturising it deeply.
