Lime Seed - Carrier Oil

Citrus aurantifolia

Lime Seed Oil is cold-pressed from the seeds of the fresh, green Citrus aurantifolia fruits handpicked from sun-kissed orchards in the Indian countryside. Lime Seed Oil is often known as the superhero ingredient in skincare products due to its richness in zinc, vitamin E, vitamin C, antioxidants, and omega 6- and 9- fatty acids.

Not to be confused with its essential oil counterpart, Lime Seed Oil is a cold-pressed carrier seed oil. Despite it being extracted from the seeds, it still carry a slight citrus aroma, just not as powerful as the essential oil version.

Therapeutic & Skincare

Lime Seed Oil is naturally full of Monounsaturated and Polyunsaturated fatty acids which are great for nourishing the skin and increasing barrier functions. Lime Seed Oil has the ability to hydrate the skin but not leave an oily residue - leaving your skin looking fresh and clean.

As an antioxidant, Lime Seed Oil helps to reduce the signs of aging and prevent premature aging of the skin. These signs include wrinkles, dark circles and bags under the eyes, sagging skin, uneven skin tone, and dry skin. The carotenoids in Lime Seed Oil protect the skin, promote healthy collagen production, lower inflammation, and can help with acne prone skin.
